CHAPEL IS OUR SLEEPING ZONE

With over 60% of the chapel population always sleeping during morning chapel services.Students of Bowen have claimed that chapel is their alternative bedroom.despite ushers and courtesy officers walking up and down to ensure they don't sleep, Bowen university students still manage to find time to sleep during services.someone once confessed he only knows what happens at the beginning of every chapel service but immediately after the first hymn he logs off.
  it has been proven that not only students sleep during services but also staffs do doze off during the chapel service.students have caught many choristers dozing on the chapel altar behind chaplains and the VC.the funny thing is that no one can explain why people sleep in chapel because even during exciting events people still sleep.guess we need to cast out the spirit of sleep away from the school chapel.

 

 After thorough findings and research that was conducted from the past 3 sunday morning chapel services and also the past 3 chapel wednesday chapel services we found out that

*majority of the sleeping crew are 100 and 200l students reaching 45%of the sleeping crew(3 per row)
followed by 300l students reaching 33% and the rest is 400l 500l and extra year students
*300l students have the highest number of students on a consecutive streak of sleeping during services
*300l have the highest number of girls that sleep during chapel services
*200l have the highest number of boys that sleep during chapel services
*100 and 200l wing have the highest attendance of ushers and courtesy officers present every service
*300l wing has been the stubborn part of the school chapel with students not listening to anyone who wakes them.LOL.Stubborn bunch!

so is it that we need to add more interesting programmes to chapel service to reduce sleep and boredom or it is a thing that can never change......

AMAKA 400L OPEN LETTER TO BOWEN UNIVERSITY STUDENT COMMUNITY

HI my name is AMAKA am a 400l student of Bowen uni ,am not the popular type just a normal girl.i forwarded this message to the crew of Bowen stories just because i think is time i say my mind because am suffering inwardly.
   For over 2years now have been dating a fellow student of Bowen uni and when we first started there was love but now i think the love is no longer there.Many often see us together and say we look cute together and sometimes call us Bowen best couple but when they leave i just laugh and say they don't know my mind.its not like am a bitch or am ungrateful but we all have reasons for whatever we do.My boyfriend is the main reason i want out from the whole relationship.He is a freak of love,when we started i knew he was a little bit jealous whenever he sees guys around me but i never thought he could be so jealous to the extent he ends up threatening me up and down the school campus .he monitors my movements, to a point he told his stupid lowlife friends to help monitor me too,,he even checks my last seen on whatsapp .He likes me to stay with him 24hrs ,even when am in class he sends texts or bbm IMs.
    Am tired of it all ,i never knew what i got myself into ,i fell for his sweet charms but to me he is just a love monster cos thats not love don't even have a word for it.i know many will be thinking since i am tired of it i should just break up with him,but its not that easy,his mom knows me very well and she even calls me every 2days,all his sisters also check up on me from time to time.they already think they have a wife,and also he often tells me if i ever try and Breakup with him,he will make sure my life is miserable till i take my last breath.
   I never thought i could meet a guy that will threaten me this much.I asked him why he loves me so much that he can end up hurting me , he replied "everything i learnt to become a man ,you taught me".he claims everything we shared is so special to him and he just cant imagine it not part of him anymore.But newsflash i want out because i am loosing my sanity and i want to start a new life with whoever comes my way next.I loved him but just want us to stay friends and that's all.i know he will see this because him and his friends read this blog but i just don't care anymore
  So i am asking my fellow Bowenites for advice on what i can do about my situation,help me and you can end up saving a soul.i pray whoever reads this doesnt also end up getting caught up in a situation like mine.Thank you so much ,God loves you so do Amaka.

BOWEN UNIVERSITY TO SUSPEND 51 STUDENTS

   

      It has been reported that Bowen university are planning to suspend 51 students after the just concluded SDC meeting.The students happen to be those who have gone against the school rules one way or the other.some will be allowed to appeal why some wont be allowed to appeal their cases.it has been reported that 50% of the students soon to be going on suspension are final year students.reports coming from a reliable internal source that's part of the committee claims the school are in no mood to tolerate any unruly behavior after the riot incidence.
    We are using this medium to tell our fellow students to be smart in  anything they do .the smart ones get away ,when your caught it simply means your not smart enough.The school is now enforcing the law that "if you appear before the SDC three times its automatic expulsion from the school with immediate effect".
   Bowen don dey para ,students gats dey Kana too..No time to be slow like pastor Caleb ,its time to be sharp like Manny. TWO BOWEN BOYS SET TO BECOME FATHERS!

     It has been reported t us that two bowen boiz are set to become fathers.One is a 300l student and the other a 200l student.Their names and department has been made anonymous because of certain reasons..
      Dami oyewole a student of OOU mass comm is pregnant for the bowen 200l boy and reports claims that she fell in love with the boy on IG because of his cool swaggful pics.she is 7months pregnant currently living with her parents but she claims the Bowen boy's family has been supportive ever since they found out they are becoming grandparents.The pregnancy is a result of our unending parol mode..
    Cynthia Lovina Johnson a student of Wolex polytechnic has made it known she is pregnant for a popular bowen soccer player,she is in her 8th month of pregnancy and reports came to us via the young wolex lady saying the father of her unborn child who is a 300l student of Bowen uni has refused to accept her pregnancy due to the fact that he found out she has had an history with 8 other Bowen guys including his so called cousin.now currently staying with her cousin in Ibadan because her parents have sent her packing from their house at Yemetu in Ibadan.she had no choice than to contact us via our twitter account that she wants this to spread out and reach people so her ex-lover can be supportive and be a part of the child's life.she said next month is her delivery month and she hopes the students of  Bowen uni will keep her in prayers that it should be a safe delivery.
  so we have delivered the story to ur hears ,and we hope it reaches the so called students.Be careful of what you do,sometimes the consequences of our actions might be the end of our education.

Born on May 18 some years ago into a family of four. She attended Queen’s College Yaba, Lagos, for her secondary education and then went on to attend  BOWEN UNIVERSITY IN IWO NIGERIA where she studied BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ..Damilola unlike every body was a law abiding student that wanted an office work but her love for acting took over her four years spent in bowen university.
      she is popularly known as telema maduke in the multi-award winning m net tv soap opera TINSEL
she was part of the project and was giving a major role in the TV series..Damilola has done it all ,she has done theatre acting which you can still call Broadway or live performance,she has been part of a film project...and also TV series..
    

She recently won the Nigerian Entertainment Award (NEA)for Best Actress.
she is a powerhouse in the movie industry and is well known across Africa,with nominations in different countries.it is the happiness of the whole Bowen uni land that we see our products doing fine

Election campaigns for new departmental escos has started and i urge bowenites to come out and and vote in one voice.i am urging bowenites to please listen to each nominees and vote for each because they are capable and not because they are our friends
we vote because we want result,am sure none of us wants any GEJ in any post as our dept esco

check he or she past records and see if they can make things happen,see if they are capable of bringing new things

and not a dummy.

ITS the tym of the session when all my fellow bowen students can have fun in their own way for a few hours...its the beginning of Deparmental week come monday next week..
